Heat Deaths & American Audacity
It angers me to no end how Americans are so casually making fun of French deaths during the recent heat wave, "I'll turn down my AC a few degrees to honour them", "Anything but joining modern society and getting A/C".
It's fucking appalling, disgusting and degenerate. These people have "man of god!" in their bio, they pretend to preach a religion of love while ridiculing the deaths of innocent people. I so badly want to list all of the reasons why most people don't have air conditioning in most EU countries, but I feel my breath is wasted doing so. It doesn't even matter in the end. They know what brought this weather, they know we weren't prepared for it, this is not a regular climate. If Arizona suddenly froze over, how many would die? I know I would be in ruins, over the dead elderly. No one to take care of them, dying in their sleep, shivering.
Vile. Fucking disgusting rats, what a cruel joke to behave this way.
Some have attempted to justify it by pointing to a single person in French government blaming the US for their emissions, which would have made this heatwave happen. Anger, that, on her end, was probably misplaced, there's bigger polluters and whatever. Again, it doesn't matter. But to laugh at the dead, the infantile and the broken, those too stubborn to ask for help or those without the literal words to do so. Over the shit take of a single person?
I don't know what I want to wish upon them, injustice hits me hard and enrages me to a degree that I lose all reason. I don't want them dead and I know they won't change, why can't the world just be just and why do we exist in a space where animals like these feel comfortable speaking? I just can't get it, I don't know how I will ever come to terms with it all.
